Duties: Intake of patient information,vital signs, ear/eye lavage, EKG's immunization all types physicals,sports,study abroad, phlebotomy, breathing treatments, peak flows, spirometery referrals, assist with minor procedures, teaching patient care, stock and order meds for the modular.
Clinical skills consist of vital signs, injections, medication administration, dosage calculation, EKG, Urinalysis, culture techniques, assisting in minor surgery, and patient examinations.
Administrative skills consist of Medical Law and Ethics, medical terminology (4.0 gpa), billing and coding, accounts payable and receivable, Microsoft Word 2000, Excel, computerized billing, Medical Manager, and Medical Mastermind programs, and typing up to 70wpm.
