Healthport is actively seeking a profesional talent for a multi-site Medical Records Supervisor to service and supervise staff at hospital facilities in Southern IL.
The Medical Records Supervisor's responsibilities will include but are not limited to providing direct supervision of medical records staff, training staff, answering phones, pulling and scanning medical records.
The ideal candidate will have the ability travel to multiple sites in Southern IL to supervise staff and act as back up for vacations and absences. They will also be able to motivate staff members for high production results and will be able to adjust and embrace change as it occurs.
Must be a fast learner with great people skills and very reliable. Applicants must have good customer service skills, have the ability to work independently and maintain service levels.
Hired associate must be available to possibly travel overnight.
Compensation is based on experience and education.
Requirements:
*1 or more years experience in a medical records department.
*Minimum of 1 year management or supervisory experience.
*Have the ability to do light physical labor in relation to the job duties.
*Must be willing to travel to assigned sites and have reliable transportation.
*Must be able to work assigned schedule.
*Must be able to pass a criminal background investigation
