Ophthalmic Consultants seeking 4 Full-time (37.5 hours/week) Medical Transcriptionists. The Medical Transcriptionists are responsible for typing medical forms, reports, letters and notes that are dictated by an ophthalmologist. • Transcribe error free letters to patients, doctors, pre operative consent forms and reports. • Copy all signed correspondence and placing in appropriate patient charts. Mailing letters and memos. • Coordinate the electronic distribution and timely receipt of all Boston practice dictation to off-site transcriptionists. • Create and keep current address lists of referral OD's and MDs and multiple mailing lists utilized by the practice. • Responsible for the typing and revision of all manuscripts, articles and speeches for practice physician and clinical providers.
