REMOTE/IT SUPPORT ENGINEER (telecommute position)

QUALIFICATIONS:
Network Engineer: Must have 4+ years of real world experience and be able to install, configure and maintain the following: Windows 2003/2008 Standard and Enterprise, MAC OS, Active Directory, Exchange, MS Terminal Server, RAID, Symantec Enterprise products, VPN, and Cisco PIX firewalls.
Associate Network Engineer: Must have 2+ years of real world experience and be able to perform excellent desktop support and administer MS Server platforms. Candidate will have advanced skills & knowledge with key Microsoft server/client versions, and networking protocols. At least 3-5 years (Network Engineer) or 2-3 years (Associate Network Engineer) of professional experience in PC network consulting; certifications are a plus but not required. Must have substantial real world experience, excellent client communication, meticulous organizational skills, professional appearance, and references are a must!
EDUCATION: Bachelors' degree, or in pursuit of, Computer Science, Computer Engineering or Electronics & Communications Engineering or Technical Certification in administering Microsoft Windows environment or equivalent experience. CCNA, CCDA or equivalent certifications are a plus.
CERTIFICATIONS: (Network Engineer) MCSE, CCNA or on track to obtain in 12 month or less. (Associate Network Engineer) MCSE , CCNA or on track for or above to obtain in 24 month or less.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Engineer will be required to perform remote technical support on a call back basis for assigned clients and supporting other engineers as a secondary contact for their assigned clients in Los Angeles County. Must have good phone support skills, be able to communicate well over the phone, and provide stellar customer service. Great position for someone going to school. The qualified engineer must have hands on real world experience in the following areas and products:
Designing, Deploying, Migrating, and Administering,
* Windows 2003 & 2008 servers (Active Directory)
* Microsoft Exchange 2003/2007/2010 standard and enterprise
* Microsoft SQL
* Symantec Products
* Citrix
* Cisco routers and wireless products
* All Windows desktop platforms and MS Office products.
Engineer will work in complex network environments with minimal supervision and will be responsible for remote troubleshooting and resolving difficult problems related to PC hardware, network topology, security, broad business application software and peripherals in dynamic and challenging working environments. Engineer must have real world experience with computer hardware and software troubleshooting.
We are currently hiring 6 part-time positions PST (8AM-12)/(12-5PM) ( Part-Time shifts flexible with school schedule )
